Hello Friends!
Today I want to share with you my seafoam green chippy metal cabinet I found at a garage sale for only $8 dollars.
The lady i bought it from said she used to work at a veterinarian clinic and it was going to be thrown away but she rescued it.
It now stands proudly in my entryway and pairs perfectly with my sign.
If i sing the song "You Are My Sunshine" at any other time than at night, my kids will say, "it's not bedtime."
I've been singing that song to both of my daughter's since they were babies so i was excited to find a sign with the lyrics on it.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your week!
until next time,
xo
Cheryl
I also really like the sign. hugs from Gabriella
ReplyDelete$8 bucks! Such a GREAT deal I love it! Would've scooped it up too. The pairing with the sign is just perfect and the fact that it has personal meaning just makes it all the more perfect!! Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteHi Cheryl,
ReplyDeleteLove the find and I too would have snaged it right up!
By the way!!...My Grandmother would play her piano for her 6 grandchildren and would sing "YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE MY ONLY SUNSHINE!" to us all the time I would then sing it to my two children when they were real little, I still will at time belt it out to my daughter at times.
I have always wanted a board long enough to create these words on a sign now more then ever you have inspired a sign for me!
where on earth did you find such a sign ? :)
Thank you for the inspiration!!
xoxo

ReplyDeleteThat particular song always brings a tear to my eyes... I'm a Custodial Gramma and my Grandson used to sing this song to his Mama when he was about 2 years old.
