The Girls Room

Hello Friends!
I thought I would give you a peek of the girls room.

i love the old white chippy wood frame around the chalkboard. if you don't already know Katie from All Things Beautiful In Time i'm sure you will soon. She has the most amazing junk and is super talented at displaying it. Her sons are following in her foot steps and have started Brothers of Industry. Brother's of Industry made this chalkboard for my little girls room. i had the pleasure of seeing all of them today at the CALM Antique Show and brought home some of their goodies.

10 years ago i was given a Reed and Barton silver tea set. it's tarnished so beautifully! i usually use pieces from the tea set here and there to hold flowers.

Both girls have antique iron beds. i paid $200 total for both beds. One of them was found on craigslist and the other from a great friend who is an antique dealer.
The girls bedding is from Bed Bath and Beyond from the Vintage Chic collection.

The weekend has finally arrived! I hope you all have the best weekend!
Happy treasure hunting!

until next time,

  1. Hi Cheryl, thanks for stopping by my blog! It's how I found your blog, and I'm super happy I did!
You look familiar...I think we were both in Kate's booth at CALM at the same time. You were there with one your daughters. Anyways, I love your home, and hope you'll share more of it with us!

  2. Hi Jennifer! I was there with my daughter. Isn't Katie the best? I'm so happy you stopped by my blog! I love your blog! I keep stopping by to look at Marilyn's home. It's amazing!

  3. I love the simplicity of this room, it is sooo cute! I didn't know that BB&B had such cute bedding, I will have to check it out. I always get all of mine from Target's Shabby Chic line. Love the room!

  4. So very cute!!! I love the beds....I might have to do that in our guest room:)

  5. Oh Cheryl,
I just love their room!!! It's so beautiful!! Sometimes I wish I had girls so I could have a pretty pink floral room. You did a lovely job!
Have a wonderful week and I'll get your clutch out tomorrow! Thank you for your kind words about my designs, you really made my day!

  6. Oh Cheryl... if ONLY I could keep the G-Kids bedroom looking this lovely... or lovely at all frankly! *Winks* Alas, they are not that interested in having a room that looks inviting... I can spend countless hours in there and after they've occupied it a while... it can look ransacked! So I always enjoy seeing children's rooms where it looks as lovely as the rest of the Home...

Blessings from the AZ Desert... Dawn... The Bohemian

  7. Such a pretty room. I have heard about brothers of industry when I read about them on Velvet and Linen's blog.

  8. What a pretty room Cheryl and I LOVE those iron beds!! Martina
